Shelby and I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and hope the New Year will be good to all of the “girls” and their calves. I have been following your photos and words can not express how great they are besides bringing back special memories of our ranching days. We miss our horses and cows and the wonderful life ranching provides. Sad to say that there comes a time in our lives when we have to change our ways and travel a new trail. Enjoy your lives to the fullest and keep up your good work for the American Cowboy!
Thanks for the Christmas wishes and the same to you in return. Thanks for the year of posts. A lot you wrote about made me more aware of how similar we are here in Western Victoria, (Except we don’t have high mountains. I am putting in a link that I think you of all people will understand. My wife and daughter just spent four days in Lorne. We go there about twice a year. http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/victoria-fires-request-to-evacuate-lorne-20151225-gluy3p.html
And right back at you and your herd. 🙂

Merry Christmas from your neighbors in Oklahoma. Your pictures keep me from feeling homesick until I get cattle stocked here.
