With warmer weather, the garden is still producing strawberries, and Robbin, strawberry jam when she finds time. We’ve begun picking squash, peppers, cucumbers, onions, potatoes as needed, tomatoes ripening. Always attractive to the birds and bees, sunflowers volunteer, somewhere, from last year’s seed. With ample rains and bloom, we’ve lost a limb on the Palo Verde. One-eyed Foreman, our old cat, accompanies Robbin when in the garden, scouting for snakes in the squash and strawberries.
