Our square creations
become places for the wild
to relax and roost.

Like our homes they seem so much livelier when they’re filled with our ‘kids’ . . .
It didn’t take long for these corrals to be incorporated into wild routines.
We don’t see those in the Big Horns, but there is a beautiful brand new wooden corral. 🙂

You build it, and something will come, move in and make a fair living, it seems. I much prefer board corrals, the look and effectiveness of less space between the boards as opposed to recycled oil field pipe. But after a lifetime of replacing posts and boards, we opted for pipe pens: home to ground squirrels, cottontails, rattlesnakes, bobcats, Red Tails, Egrets, herons, quail and other assorted visitors.
