Very cool capture. Are these normally in your area of the Sierras?
Yes. We had as many as 3 pairs nesting around the house during the drought. Fairly tame/not concerned with humans/predators.
Amazing!! I always thought they were desert birds. My friend in Albuquerque has them running along her back yard wall all the time.
