I was amazed how a camera drew my eyes from a landscape to the fine detail that makes up the overall. How much I missed passing a field of wildflowers not seeing the petals and the creatures they nourish. The beauty of a deer, but not the ticks. Nature is both large and small. Now I understand, “stop and smell the roses”.
