What is Wagyu? I haven’t heard of this before…

Wagyu is a breed of Japanese cattle, genetically predisposed to intense marbling, one of several breeds that are used for Kobe beef. We have utilized Wagyu bulls on our first-calf heifers because they are smaller and easier calving. We contract these calves to Snake River Farms in Idaho from where these tenderloins came. Thanks for commenting.

Happy Anniversary!
Michael did awesome in his rugby tryouts. Now we just wait for the fall out. He’s been invited to play in Columbus Ohio and Scotland already. Tom played with the team from Oregon and got a blackeye for the gathering. 🙂
We miss you both.

Thank you, Carol. I have to confess I had forgotten. On a normal year we’d be in Bishop now after a dinner at Whiskey Creek, waking for breakfast at Jack’s and traveling across Nevada to the Gathering, far enough away from our daily concerns to truly appreciate one another, remembering once again, 18 years and our wedding at the Pioneer. I’ll surprise Robbin when she wakes up!
Good for Michael! I so would like to see Tom’s black eye. Obviously he’s feeling much younger than he really is. I haven’t knees enough left to even entertain the dream of a rugby scrum.
It’s going to be tough for us both not being in Elko, visiting, etc. among so many friends. On a normal year, we’d be having dinner together tonight. We’ll try to keep connected via the Internet, but it won’t transport us to the Star to lift a Pecan together. Take care of yourselves, stay healthy. We miss you, too.
