I am amused with the new vocabulary of weathermen like “hydroclimate whiplash” during the atmospheric rivers a couple of years ago. I just read a new one, we’re on day 21 of our “tule stratus” as we head to Paregien’s to gather for Wednesday’s branding where hopefully we’ll be above the fog.

Did you hear this on what is now called the weather “futurecast”?

No not yet! We’ve been watching our futurecast for approaching storms on our evening news for a few years now. I caught “radiation fog” last week from somewhere, but I got “Tule Stratus” from Daniel Swain’s “Weather West” a few days ago. A guy’s got to whip and spur to be conversant with any kind of news anymore.
