   Makes me long to ride. It also makes me laugh, thinking of the man who has been the summer caretaker where we go in Wyoming each summer. He always said he didn’t like mares, until we got a couple that were such loves that he couldn’t resist. He and his wife kept the horse in my gravatar when she wouldn’t have had to be put down, loving and babying her to the end.
