    Undoubtedly the ugliest creature God ever made . . . Hit one once on my windshield while doing 60 – the bird hit the ground once then took off in flight . . . God tell . . .

    Much closer and it’d be an X-ray. Nice sho,t with the big lens?
    Their sense of smell is amazing.

      My father first suggested that perhaps it was their sense of smell that helped them locate carrion, a concept that bewildered me… that a bird could smell through its beak.

      Big lens, yes. Shaky at best.
