    Did you have her Tom for Thanksgiving last November? My guess is that somebody did . . .

    • No, I don’t know what the deal is. We’ve had a solitary hen for a couple of years now watering in the same place away from the other bunches of hens and babies, now half-grown. We’ve seen three or four toms during breeding season. Trying to help them get established, no hunting allowed. Just anti-social, I guess. She’s pretty tame.
