Just the time to stock up for winter, though, when everything is good and dry. I do miss our wood-burning stove.

Sure must be nice to have the hydraulics standing by. At times we cuss technology, then take notice of a splitter.
It is nice. During the rainy months, I can bring the big rounds down to have on hand, the inside wood stays dry and I can split them as I need them.
