    Gorgeous photo. Part tote, pole, part crucifixion. Turkey vultures can be so stunning, and you have captured their wingspan so well.

      Thanks, Babsje. Not as delicate and regal as herons, but certainly more plentiful around here except in winter. When roosting together near water, I think of them as deacons.
